My husband is doing something new for dinner tonight. He recently traveled to North Carolina for a business trip and came home excited to prepare a new side dish that he tried while he was there.
They are balls of sweet corn and cream of corn, breaded with cornmeal, and then fried.
He said he expects me to like it.
I do not see how I would not like it.
He said it reminds me of my scalloped corn (if you've never had scalloped corn, you have not lived), except for fried bite-sized pieces.
