  1. What is your stack of tools to run your business?

I can see that some are not willing to share one or two of their uber tools (competitive advantage and so on). It's okay. Take it out of the pile and list the things that you do not think will endanger your competitiveness.

  2. I think this really depends on the market you're targeting.
It would also depend on whether the hosting provider has its own development team or not, some hosts have developed their own billing system separate from WHMCS as an example.
A long story short, even Microsoft, the other day, recommended that partners have their own IP, as in intellectual property, to stand out from the crowd.

I was hoping to get a quick list of tools / services that hosters use to run / manage their business. But I can see how you saw this from a dev perspective. So something like this: Trello, Slack, WHMCS, Webex, etc.

  4. Apart from the obvious, I would say it would be difficult to work without them:
    -Asana
    -Sticky password
-TeamViewer Built in Windows remote access
    -Google Docs

    That's

Asana looks very interesting. It overlaps with Trello a little. There are other tools that I thought were obvious to me, but maybe others have never heard and can be verified. Others that I just forgot: Google Voice, the project management of WHMCS (used for a completely different purpose to project management), Inkscape, Google Forms, and probably more if I venture beyond the rabbit of a busy day.

  6. As is the case with most hosters here, we have gone through several iterations of our stack.
At this time, we use a combination primarily of Ubersmith (support set and some DC monitoring and management systems), Office365 for mail, Hipchat (which will be replaced by internal XMPP) + a lot of custom internal things.

  7. Slack + EzeeLogin + GoogleDocs + WHMCS + Kayako

  8. My company provides hosting services. We use Blesta for billing, Plesk as the server control panel. We mainly resell Linode services. Our benchmark showed that it is the most reliable and with the best performance. As for Plesk, they had a big price increase, but at the beginning we decided to use it since it seemed the easiest to use.
We also use administrators of commercial passwords, OpenVPN and standard Linux things.

  9. WHMCS + SupportPal + 1Password + Transmit + Postbox (Email) + Mailchimp + HelpCrunch
