usability: what is the best approach to show the hierarchy of business logic in my web application?

I've been trying to solve this for a while and I've decided that the bread crumbs will show up as the title of the page in order to comply with a development version.

The product I am working on after logging in asks users to establish a hierarchy based on the business logic before they can enter the application. Using bread crumbs for this seems a bad practice.

It's something like this:
Choose year> Choose season> Choose category 1> Choose category 2 "ENTER"

Users have asked that they can see this hierarchy at all times because several people can use this single interface at different times in a group configuration, and be able to edit this hierarchy if necessary.

Is there a better way to show this information?
