We have our sites in the VPS (Cloud-3) plan in the cloud managed by KnownHost.com (with 200 GB SSD storage).
Although we do not have much traffic because the sites are still in development, my developer told me that we are running out of storage space. I do not think our sites still carry 15 GB of storage yet. I contacted the KnwnHost helpdesk and they told me that the backups are taking up a lot of space and that we are already using 73% of the space. I do not have much experience in space / server management, so I asked my developer to see if they can improve the backup situation and free the space.
KnownHost support asked me to look for an off-site backup solution.
I live in the chat with the representative of CrashPlan and they said that they are only compatible with Linux (RedHat and Ubuntu versions, not CentOS, etc.).
Frankly, I do not know what operating system KnownHost uses in my Cloud-3 plan (I can not understand it).)
Anyway, I need help … please suggest that I am an off-site backup solution that is:
– cheap / affordable
-continuously backs up all our server (data / files / account, etc.)
– and it's extremely easy to use for people like me who are not professionals in this field.
