Taxonomy Terms – Help with views and / or hiding exposed filters

At this moment I have a view created for a particular content type that we will call "Party". Then there is a vocabulary of "Parts" to assign a taxonomy term or terms to classify that content in my menu. Everything works correctly, but I wonder if I can apply a filter exposed to only one branch of my menu tree.

So my view rules:

Content of the part attributed to:

"Parts" (vocabulary for the menu)

  • taxonomy term "part category A"
  • taxonomy term "part category B"
  • taxonomy term "part category C"
  • taxonomy term "part category D"

Etc …

I would like to be able to put a filter exposed only in the taxonomy term "part category B", but not in the rest.

Should I / can I build a separate view exclusively for taxonomy term "part category B", and then exclude term taxonomy "part category B"from the existing view?

Or, is there a way to hide the exposed filter automatically when no content has the aspects assigned to that filter exposed? (It seems that this is a solution that many are looking for?)

I hope this makes a bit of sense. I read some posts about hiding filters, but I still have not found a resolution.

Thanks in advance!
