File manager with exif thumbnail support?

I have a large number of photos stored on my NAS which I’d like to view (but not download) on my Android phone. At present I do so via SMB (Windows file share, but I am open to using another protocol) using CX File Explorer, but Cx File Explorer is very slow loading thumbnails of images.

To combat this, I have been researching Exif Thumbnails as a solution (as then a client only had to load the first couple of kilobytes of the image to access the thumbnail), but Cx File Explorer does not appear to support them: I set up 2 test folders: 1 with 50 pictures without exif thumbnails, and another with those same 50 pictures with thumbnails, but did not observe a difference in loading speed (whereas I did observe a difference when I did the same experiment with a Windows 10 client).

My question is this: Is there a file manager app that supports both previewing images on SMB shares and exif thumbnails?

php – Get Acf field value & Post thumbnail in JSON

I am making custom wishlist for post types , and now appending all json data to div, post title and other default values like date and content I already have. But in which way I could parse my acf fields from my custom post types, and the featured image.Currently I don’t have this data in JSON , can u help me?

$(document).ready(function() {
    var wishlistArray = JSON.parse(localStorage.getItem('wishItem'));

    type: 'POST',
    url: '<?php echo admin_url('admin-ajax.php');?>',
    dataType: "json", // add data type
    data: { action : 'get_ajax_posts',type:'tour',list:wishlistArray.tour },
    success: function( response ) {
        $.each(response, function( index, value ) {
                '<div class="tour_container"><div class="custom-featured"></div><img width="400" height="267" src="'????+'" class="attachment-ct-list-thumb size-ct-list-thumb wp-post-image" alt="" loading="lazy" 400w,  200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px"/>'+'</div><div class="tour_title"><h3>'+JSON.stringify(value.post_title)+'</h3><p>В прямом эфире пройти по мощеным улочкам Старого города и раскрыть местные секреты</p></div>');

                /*'<div>' + JSON.stringify(value.post_title) + '</div><div>' + JSON.stringify(value.post_date)+ '</div><div>' +JSON.stringify(value.post_excerpt)+ '</div><div>' +JSON.stringify(value.post_category)+ '</div>');*/

/* AJAX POSTS to JSON * :))) */

function get_ajax_posts() {
    // Query Arguments
    $args = array(
        'post_type' => array($_POST("type")),
        'post_status' => array('publish'),
        'posts_per_page' => -1,
        'nopaging' => true,
        'order' => 'ASC',
        'post__in'=> $_POST("list"),

    // The Query
    $ajaxposts = get_posts( $args ); // changed to get_posts from wp_query, because `get_posts` returns an array
    echo json_encode( $ajaxposts );
    exit; // exit ajax call(or it will return useless information to the response)

// Fire AJAX action for both logged in and non-logged in users
add_action('wp_ajax_get_ajax_posts', 'get_ajax_posts');
add_action('wp_ajax_nopriv_get_ajax_posts', 'get_ajax_posts');

JS wishlist localstorage

 var wishlistArray = JSON.parse(localStorage.getItem('wishItem'));

        wishlistArray = {
            tour: (),
            hotel: (),
            service: ()

    function updateLocalStorage() {
        localStorage.setItem('wishItem', JSON.stringify(wishlistArray));

    document.querySelectorAll('.wishlist-btn').forEach(item => {
        item.addEventListener('click', event => {
            const parsedValue = JSON.parse((item.value));
            if(wishlistArray(parsedValue.type).includes( {
            } else {
                if(parsedValue.type === 'tour'){

    console.log("Parse data " + printWishlist);

sharepoint online – Highlighted Content Webpart Thumbnail Picture – Classic SC as source

I’m struggling with a new Highlighted Content web part in a modern page and would love to hear back on your experience.

The scenario we have is a mixed online tenant with both classic and modern site collections, hubs etc. In this particular use case I want to display the content of a “News” List (custom list) on a modern page. The list is located in the classic site collection, has some custom columns to it, including Pictures.

I have used Highlighted Content web part and it does 90% of the job well. I query the content type id from classic site and retrieve the results, but the thumbnail picture stays empty.

I have tried so far the following without success:

  • adding both Hyperlink or Picture and Image Columns to the classic list
  • naming the columns the same way modern Pages Library has its Thumbnail Picture column (site column) named – “Banner Image URL”
  • querying the List in the same (modern) SC with both tests above

The HC WP just doesn’t seem to get that picture thumbnail, which is quite frustrating.

Side note: We want to stick to standard SharePoint and avoid custom developments as much as possible.

Does anyone managed to use this web part with picture displayed on the content in the lists? Both classic and modern?

gnome-shell: Error while loading thumbnail

I was checking the output from journalctl and I see a large number of the following entries:

gnome-shell[5944]: Error while loading thumbnail: Error: Argument width: value is out of range for gfloat

Seems to be a couple thousand over a short period of time

$ uptime; sudo journalctl -b | grep thumbnail | wc -l
 10:37:23 up 19:36,  1 user,  load average: 0.89, 1.06, 1.21

My thoughts are that there is a thumbnail somewhere that gnome is trying to reference that is corrupt somehow – maybe the thumbnail’s width is returning a non float value?

I have tried deleted the following directory: ~/.cache/thumbnails
It was recreated when I next opened nautilus, navigated to a directory containing pictures and changed views to the “show grid” view.

This made no difference.

How can I identify which thumbnail this is in reference to?

Stop Windows 10 from randomly using past folder thumbnail for unrelated folder and overriding the custom folder icon

I have a pretty sizable collection of manga stored on my drive, divided into a bunch of folders. To help differentiate them at a glance, I use the Customize function in Folder Properties to set each folder to use the volume cover of its respective manga as thumbnail.

A while after doing this, I started noticing something really weird: if I create a folder full of pictures, or if Windows decided to change any folder’s type to a picture folder, it will randomly pick one of my manga covers to use as thumbnail. Even when the newly created folder is on an entirely different local disk (I partitioned my hard drive into two disks, but they share the same OS), the manga covers still automatically get displayed.

So far I’ve tried the following:

  • Clear Thumbnail cache with a CCleaner’s clean
  • Use Disk Cleanup on both of my local disks to delete cached thumbnail
    (NOTE: my mangas are stored on a local disk not used to install
    windows, so there’s no option to delete thumbnail for it)
  • Use Command Prompt to delete all the thumbnail database files
    following the exact steps detailed in this article:
  • Checked then unchecked the “Always show icons, never thumbnails”
    option in the Folder Options

After each of those attempts, I always have my computer restart.

Yet despite all that, windows still stubbornly force my manga cover on unrelated folders!

Could anyone help me out with this?

Thumbnail is showing outside its div instead of inside it

I’m echoing the post thumbnail here:

echo '<div class="post-image right">' . the_post_thumbnail('featured-portrait-large') . '</div>';

And it works, but it’s outputting the image outside the div like this:

<div class="post-header-text">
  <img width="500" height="700" src="(IMAGE URL DELETED)" class="attachment-featured-portrait-large size-featured-portrait-large wp-post-image" alt="" loading="lazy">
  <div class="post-image right"></div>

What I want is:

<div class="post-header-text">
  <div class="post-image right">
    <img width="500" height="700" src="(IMAGE URL DELETED)" class="attachment-featured-portrait-large size-featured-portrait-large wp-post-image" alt="" loading="lazy">

Could someone explain why and what I’ve done wrong?
