How top stop bot traffic spam to my site?

sarahk Yes, it is affecting my analytics stats and my bounce rate and it is using up resources.

seomanualsubmission, I have a wordpress blog.

the traffic it sends goes to the homepage according to analytics.

It is a money niche site with easy keywords so I don’t want to give it away here on the forum :]

I just wonder what I should do to stop the bot traffic from that domain.

How to safely "reply" to spam email?

I received an email marked as spam from Yahoo, but it was strange since it contained part of my password. The email says they know my password, so I better pay them in BTC.
I think I had to change my password a few years ago as Yahoo said it might have been leaked, but I used the same base password with a slight change, so my new one still contains the word that was quoted in the spam email.
Yahoo logs for the sessions didn't show anyone else logging in recently, so I changed my password to something completely different (oh, I already forgot …) and also changed my recovery email password, just to be sure.

Since the sender claims to have videos of me from my computer's camera, but I don't have a camera, I feel safe knowing that they only have my old password and I would like to send an email to the sender, but from a different email he speaks to.

You should probably create a new email just for this purpose, but is there anything else I should look for so as not to identify myself in any way?
Can I be tracked using, for example, the Yahoo website to send an email?

Of course, I will not mention the specific details of the email they sent me

Invisible spam posting on the backend

I have a problem on my WordPress site. In the interface there is a spam post (not a comment, a post) visible to everyone. I don't know where it comes from and all malware scans so far have been negative. However, to resolve this issue, I will have to delete this post. But it can't be seen in the backend.

enter the image description here

As you can see in the given screenshot, the posts area shows "all posts" with number 58. However when I check them through pagination there are only 57. Since I can't find the spam post through normal search methods, suppose the spam post has somehow been hidden. There are no posts in the trash or at all. I also checked pages, categories, tags, etc. but nothing.

Is there a way to remove it eventually?

Spam: SpamAssassin displays an HTML_IMAGE_ONLY_XX error. But I don't have an image in my email

SpamAssassin shows that my email is going to be spam with the error "HTML_IMAGE_ONLY_20" or "HTML_IMAGE_ONLY_16".

From what I read and understood so far, this is because SpamAssassin says my html has an image and the total email size is less than 1600-2000 bytes. However, my email is text only. I don't understand why this problem keeps coming up. Please can you help me with this.

Difficult issue with emails I send going to recipients spam after domain + hosting change

I've had a problem with emails I send for work (all to external domains) that are completely blocked or spammed, to many different recipients in various companies, since I changed my domain and hosting. I send 5-50 emails per day.

Previously it had a domain name "previous.co" with BlueHost. I changed to NameCheap 3 months ago and changed my domain name to "newdomain.io" at the same time (".com" was taken).

I have been sending emails to the same people as before, with similar messages.

Since I moved, I've had continuous issues with emails I send blocked (don't even appear in spam) or addressed to recipient spam. I have not had these problems before. They started immediately when I changed.

I have checked the shipping IP address and it is not blacklisted.

I asked recipients to whitelist my email address, with mixed results.. One company reported that they were whitelisted and that my emails to any email address for that company simply never appear. Another company was whitelisted and worked for them.

I also changed my email client in case that helped and made no difference. I was using MailSpring over IMAP, now I am using Postbox over IMAP. My sent emails appear in the sent send folder. I always send HTML and very often I have online images and attachments of all kinds.

I got a message from Microsoft stating that I was on an Outlook 365 block list, so that's a hint. I completed their form to request that the block be removed, I'm not sure if this was the case or not, but the recipient whitelisted my email and we were able to communicate for a week.

I am physically located outside of the US. USA, and almost all my recipients are in the USA. So I thought this might be a problem, but when I tracked the IP address in an email I sent, it only led to the Namecheap servers and there was no indication that I could see anywhere in my physical location .

I don't know what else to do except change my hosting from Namecheap to BlueHost; Or could the problem somehow be that my domain is too new or that it is a .io domain? Any suggestion?

Sorry for the lack of specific details, some of the tech stuff is on my mind a bit, but I'm happy to provide details if you know what to ask for.

exploit – My old Skype is sending spam from Baidu

My old Skype account that I haven't used in over 4 years is sending Baidu spam links to my friends. I tried to login but can't remember the password. I checked my previous email on haveibeenpwned, and found out that this was a 2017 data breach for Yu-Gi-Oh Dueling Network. Is this Yu-Gi-Oh data breach still available online? Because I can't remember my old email password either. I don't know if this is how the hacker accessed my Skype, but I can't think of any other way.
P.S; That email was my primary email between ages 12-19, so I'm concerned about this leak. I really don't know what to do … Thanks

Spam: Why are my error logs full of 404 for "adult" content?

Lazily browsing my site's error logs this morning, I was shocked discover that a lot of fairly explicit data had been requested. (I don't mind telling you I almost sprayed my cold beer all over the screen!)

2020-05-08 02:16:13 UTC (apache)(core:info) (pid 42603) (client 66.249.66.88:35734) AH00128: File does not exist: /home/u88-8bxzcuafdah3/www/mysite.com/public_html/something-very-rude

And here they are loads from them. It looks relentless. They are spaced about 10 minutes apart, but it varies. Similarly, IP addresses change, but they are all in the range 66.249.66.0.

Presumably this is something related to referral spam, but I can't figure out why. I'm pretty sure it's not something to worry about, but it's a bit confusing …

What's going on here?

seo – Should I report a page with high page authority to Google, but is it also spam?

I have an interesting situation. My website is indexed correctly and well by Google, but I also see many spam sites that simply copy my content or link to my website, although I have never asked for that.

To give you an example:

/websitename-of-spamsite.com
Link: "go to this web-site"

PA: 38
DA: 41
Linking Domains: 18
Spam Score: 2%

So as you can see this is:

1) a spam site (100% safe), although the spam score is only 2% according to Moz.

2) it has a high PA and DA

3) Count as a backlink (course)

So my question is broad: does this page (incidentally leading to a 404 page on my website, as I have already removed that post) increase or decrease my ranking on Google? It has a high DA, so I might think it has a positive effect on my website, but since I know it's spam (although Google might not think that?), It just doesn't make sense to me not to report it.

Can I get additional information about DA, PA and possible spam links like this?
