macos – Seemingly unrelated keyboard shortcuts conflicting

I got a new work laptop (old machine died) and I’m trying to set up 1Password’s keyboard shortcuts. On my old machine I had 1Password’s autofill feature hooked up to ⌘ Command⌥ Option. Today, I tried to enter that as the key chord for 1Password and was greeted with an error that ⌘ CommandC is already in use as the shortcut for “Copy” and can’t be used by 1Password.

That’s fine, I can figure out another shortcut to use in the short term, but I’m very confused as to why ⌘ Command⌥ Option maps to ⌘ CommandC. I have confirmed that this mapping does exist/work properly, ⌘ Command⌥ Option does copy text on my machine, but it’s a brand new computer and I didn’t set up that override, so I’m very confused as to what’s happening.

Any explanations would be appreciated.

Siri shortcuts stopped working after deleting Shortcuts App

I was testing something out, but in one of my apps I can set a voice command for a shortcut. I manage the shortcut in that app and don’t use the Shortcuts App. But after I deleted the Shortcuts App those shortcuts I created in app stopped working.

I can see click the add button but Siri just says she doesn’t understand.

Do I need the Shortcuts app to be able to use in app shortcuts?

How to fix google sheet shortcuts in ubuntu?

App dynamic Shortcuts on Android not enabled if app is opened

I did create 3 dynamic shortcuts on my app.
Two of the shortcuts should be enabled after the user is signed in.

I did create all 3 shortcuts and disable 2 of them when user is not log in.
After the user did sign in , I do reenable the other 2 shortcuts, but on the App they are still disabled. If I close the app and reopen it all 3 shortcuts are visible.

What am I missing?
After enabling/ disabling shortcuts do I need to start a new activity of the app in order to see the shortcuts status?

 fun onResume() {

    shortcutManager.enableShortcuts(listOf(shortcutId2), isUserLogin)
    shortcutManager.enableShortcuts(listOf(shortcutId3), isUserLogin)
}

keyboard shortcuts – How to move to certain symbol in the next line?

Let’s take a couple of lines:

asdkgjas;fwewgdsgflk : wthtklsjflasd
djfghkdjfgndfgdfg : wreteqw'(erlw

How could I move right away to the next line so that the cursor would appear after : (regardless of it’s previous position on the previous line)?
If not possible to do it right away the with minimum actions.
I don’t have certain preference about text editor, it can be any.

keyboard shortcuts – Rapidly switching proofing language in Microsoft Word

I (very) frequently develop a manuscript that is then sent, sequentially, to different possible publishers, some of whom might be in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States. I usually create a base document in Word 2016 and save it with my native-language-marker attached to the file name (e.g., “MyOpEd-UK.docx). Next, I select the whole text, choose

Review -> Language -> Set Proofing Language -> Mark Selected Text As

in order to change, say, to NZ English, following which I go through the document again, consider the suggested changes, and save as “MyOpEd-NZ.docx”.

Is there a quicker way (perhaps by creating some kind of keyboard-shortcut, command, or button) of doing the steps
Select all text
Review -> Language -> Set Proofing Language -> Mark Selected Text As
Choose NZ English

I could then have 4 shortcuts, or whatever, for each of the four languages.

keyboard shortcuts – Can Spotify information (song information – ‘liked’ or not) be escaped by the console logs rather than going through their web API?

I use a macOS program called AnyBar https://github.com/tonsky/AnyBar that displays different colored indicator dots based on what criteria you give it and I need to configure it.

I currently use it to notify me a trackpad gesture shortcut from a mac program called bettertouchtool (BTT) has went through (because it doesn’t always go through and I don’t want to go and check if it did).

I use AnyBar for finetuning Spotify playlists in the background (liking, deleting, moving to playlists, whatever) when watching something (because it gets really old looking at spotify gui.

This is how it looks when a gesture goes through, enough to notify me, but not distract from what I’m watching.

enter image description here

I’d like to do something more advanced and have it automatically change color lights depending on if the currently spotify song is ‘liked’ already or not (my system for recognizing songs I’ve played before).

I’m going to pay for help on freelancer or fiverr most likely because I don’t know coding but want to know what I’m pitching to them, will the info ‘liked’ state have to come from the web api and then work with a script, (I’ve used python3 scripts well in the past) or can I get it from console logs (which would make other applications easier too).

Keyboard shortcuts with square brackets (swiss keyboard)

IntelliJ has some keyboard shortcuts that use square brackets. On my swiss keyboard I type square brackets with option+5 and option+6.

IntelliJ now for example has the keyboard shortcut: shift+cmd+[
I am unable to use that keyboard shortcut. I tried it by pressing shift+cmd+option+5.

How do I do that?
