Comments: How to add “Reply to [Original Commenter’s Name]” with link

I’m using the standard WordPress comments, with the Subscribe to Comments Reloaded plugin. The top of my comments currently look like this:

[Avatar] Commenter’s Name

I’d like to add some hook to my comments, to make this:

[Avatar] Commenter’s Name – replying to [Original Commenter’s Name]

I can code but, of course, I don’t want to edit the Comments template unless I have to. I also don’t want to create my own walker class. Any ideas? I’ve found nothing in the docs so far.

network – How to understand the first reply of a node

Easiest way to understand the response of other nodes IMO is using Wireshark and follow the below steps:

  1. Install Wireshark

  2. Capture packets according to the network you will be using on this system when Bitcoin full node connects with the network.

  3. Launch Bitcoin Core

  4. Stop capturing packets once the node is connected to few peers

  5. Filter captured data in Wireshark with keyword “bitcoin”

  6. Check the details of version packet sent by other node

  7. In the middle section you have all the details in readable format and last section is bytes view. Once you select any information in the middle section, relevant info will be highlighted in the byte view as the selected bytes.

Wireshark-Bitcoin

According to my understanding, src/clientversion.cpp decides the version message in Bitcoin Core and src/init.cpp helps in sharing this information.

There is one more tool for conversion of such data but I have not used it enough. I think it can be helpful while experimenting with Bitcoin: https://github.com/gchq/CyberChef

outlook.com – How to reply to a forwarded message from Gmail but make the response appear from Outlook?

I have a few email accounts, so I set a few filters on my school email (Outlook), and redirect all important mail to my personal (Gmail) account.

The goal is to:

  1. Receive an email from a colleague to Outlook, forward it to my Gmail (done)
  2. Write a response in Gmail, send it to my Outlook
  3. For my colleague to receive a response from my Outlook account in the same thread as he texted me

The “Send mail as:” function in Gmail does not work, since my school probably restricted that.

Is there a script that can make it possible, or a certain way I have to write the rules?

Also, if there are better way of doing this I’ll gladly hear them.

air travel – How long can it rightfully take for an airline to reply to a EC261 claim?

I think I am entitled to compensation under EC261. I filed an application from Ryanair’s website and, after the automated ZenDesk acknowledgment email, I haven’t heard back for months.

Is the company required to answer within a specific time frame? What is this time frame, and to whom should I escalate if my request is being ignored?

For context, I am a EU citizen living in the UK, and this is referring to a flight between the UK and the EU at a time when the UK was still under EU regulations (before 31 Dec 2020).

(This post isn’t asking whether I’m entitled to compensation – in fact, I haven’t given any details here –, but whether and under what rules I’m entitled to an answer)
