samba4 – Notepad ++ and Network Share (Samba, SMB) – A Problematic Relationship (constant file reloading)

PROBLEM:

This is an apparently unsolved problem… =( Frankly, I don’t know what can be done to resolve this situation. I have already searched in many forums what can be done, but this set with a network share (samba, SMB) and Notepad ++ is problematic. As I mentioned, the problem with constant file reloading – even if there are no changes to the file content – makes it impossible to use Notepad ++ reliably and, especially, the use of bookmarks. Note that other code editor do not have the same problem even using the same network share. I would love to know what can be done. I’ve tried everything regarding the configuration of Notepad ++ and Samba, but I haven’t been successful so far.

QUESTION:

How can I make Notepad++ stop reloading files that are accessed via network share (samba, SMB) if there is no change in the content of these files?

NOTES:

I – A partial solution would be if I could make bookmarks persistent;
II – Realize that I cannot do without the detection of changes (with warning) in files, as I work with several open source editors at the same time and this is a very big risk for me.

Unity Prevent reloading of edited files packages

I had to make a change in the existing Universal Rendering Pipeline’s ShadowCaster2D.cs to suit my needs. But every time I reload the project, the file gets reset. How do I prevent this?

The file that I need to keep is found in the following path:

(Unity Project path)LibraryPackageCachecom.unity.render-pipelines.universal@7.1.7Runtime2DShadowCaster2D.cs

macos – How do I stop Google Chrome from reloading tabs that failed to load?

Whenever a tab fails to load (network error, DNS error, timeout error etc.), every time I switch to it Google Chrome tries to refresh it. This is extremely annoying.

I thought I had solved this issue before (and in fact I had) when I:

  • Disabled Automatic Tab Discarding. (So if you’re just here to post that as an answer, don’t.)
  • And disabled the automatic tab reloading (there was a flag for this)

But, now both of those flags seem to be missing. I’m not having discarding issues, but if a tab fails to load for any reason, Google Chrome will reload it every single time I switch to it.

I’ve searched chrome://flags for tab, discard, freeze, reload, etc. and can’t find anything related. I searched as far as I could on the Internet but the only things I can find are tutorials on how to turn off the tab discarding flag (which doesn’t exist anymore). Before posting here I searched on StackExchange, but still, every answer said to turn off tab discarding.

How do I stop the reloading?

nginx – PHP FPM Very slow after about 20-30 minutes of work after reloading / restarting (on high traffic website)

PHP runs very slow as loads forever.

Below are the values from the file www.conf

; The number of child processes to be created when pm is set to 'static' and the
; maximum number of child processes when pm is set to 'dynamic' or 'ondemand'.
; This value sets the limit on the number of simultaneous requests that will be
; served. Equivalent to the ApacheMaxClients directive with mpm_prefork.
; Equivalent to the PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN environment variable in the original PHP
; CGI. The below defaults are based on a server without much resources. Don't
; forget to tweak pm.* to fit your needs.
; Note: Used when pm is set to 'static', 'dynamic' or 'ondemand'
; Note: This value is mandatory.
;pm.max_children = 5
pm.max_children = 200

; The number of child processes created on startup.
; Note: Used only when pm is set to 'dynamic'
; Default Value: min_spare_servers + (max_spare_servers - min_spare_servers) / 2
;pm.start_servers = 2
;pm.start_servers = 20

; The desired minimum number of idle server processes.
; Note: Used only when pm is set to 'dynamic'
; Note: Mandatory when pm is set to 'dynamic'
;pm.min_spare_servers = 1
;pm.min_spare_servers = 10

; The desired maximum number of idle server processes.
; Note: Used only when pm is set to 'dynamic'
; Note: Mandatory when pm is set to 'dynamic'
;pm.max_spare_servers = 3
;pm.max_spare_servers = 30

; The number of seconds after which an idle process will be killed.
; Note: Used only when pm is set to 'ondemand'
; Default Value: 10s
pm.process_idle_timeout = 3s;

; The number of requests each child process should execute before respawning.
; This can be useful to work around memory leaks in 3rd party libraries. For
; endless request processing specify '0'. Equivalent to PHP_FCGI_MAX_REQUESTS.
; Default Value: 0
pm.max_requests = 15

I tried pm ondemand too, but still the same challenge. Server resource usage is fine, not even half.

It always starts working when I do the php5.6-fpm reload service
Am I doing something wrong?

drive: how do I check if there is already an object in this scene with the same name when reloading the scene?

If the title wasn't clear enough (I really don't know how to explain it) I basically have an Audio Manager which is DontDestroyOnLoad. I also have a pause menu, which takes me back to the main menu, and in the main menu, I can reload the scene again. The problem is that reloading the scene creates multiple AudioManager copies in DontDestroyOnLoad, and I don't know how to solve it. My AudioManager script to give you a reference (only the important parts):

using System.Collections;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using UnityEngine;

public class AudioManager : MonoBehaviour
{
    #region Instances
    private static AudioManager instance;
    public static AudioManager Instance
    {
        get
        {
            if (instance == null) //if instance doesn't exist, find an AudioManager
            {
                instance = FindObjectOfType();

                if (instance == null) //if instance still doesn't exit, then it will create a new one
                {
                    instance = new GameObject("Spawned AudioManager", typeof(AudioManager)).GetComponent();
                }
            }

            return instance;
        }
        private set
        {
            instance = value;
        }
    }
    #endregion

    #region Fields
    //the audio source can only play one looping sound at a time
    private AudioSource musicSource;
    private AudioSource musicSource2; //purpose of having 2 musicSources is that we can use them to achieve effects like CrossFade
    private AudioSource sfxSource;

    private bool firstMusicSourceIsPlaying;
    #endregion

    private void Awake()
    {
        //Make sure we don't destroy this instance
        DontDestroyOnLoad(this.gameObject);

        //Create audio sources, and make them as references
        musicSource = this.gameObject.AddComponent();
        musicSource2 = this.gameObject.AddComponent();
        sfxSource = this.gameObject.AddComponent();

        //loop musicSource
        musicSource.loop = true;
        musicSource2.loop = true;
    }

php – Problem reloading a Google Maps API page

The problem I have is quite strange since

En local funciona perfecto, pero en producción no

I have a php page, with a button, that clicking it sends you to another page with some data in it. url

This second page makes a INSERT in my DB and redirect to the previous page

The problem is, that if after reloading the page with F5 I press the button, it makes the flow correct: it sends me to the second page and it returns me. Pressing the button again is like it doesn't work anymore.

When you hit the button again, it pretends to refresh the page, but not really, because certain variables that I have in php they have a random value every time, and in this case they don't change

I repeat, this only happens to me in production, not locally

Button and button jquery from the first page:

$("#newLocation").click(function() {
  $("#newLocation p").css("transform", "rotate(180deg)");
  location.href = "http://dominio.com/php/log.php?user=80&id=132&cmd=reload";
});

This is the code that shows the map and the street view of google maps

 function initialize() {
      var fenway = {
        lat: ,
        lng:
      };
      var map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById('map'), {
        center: fenway,
        zoom: 12
      });
      var panorama = new google.maps.StreetViewPanorama(
        document.getElementById('pano'), {
          position: fenway,
          zoom: ,
          pov: {
            heading: ,
            pitch:
          }
        });
      map.setStreetView(panorama);

How to submit a form without reloading or redirecting the page?

You are welcome :)

If you are not using a local copy of jQuery, change the first line to this:

Code (marked):

Also, remove the comma from the end of this line data: formdata, My mistake : eek:

Put the code in the header section and change submit.php to the link where you send the form data.

It will look something like this:

HTML:

next.js: Zeit Now routing problem. 404 NOT FOUND when reloading pages other than the index page

I recently bought a Next.js template in Themeforest and tried to implement it in Zeit Now.

Everything is fine with the index page (the page in / path), I can reload it without any problem.

The problem arises when I tried to add a new page inside pages binder. For example /privacy-policy or /terms-of-service, …

If I navigate through these pages through a from the index page it works fine. But if I tried to reload these pages or send my users a direct link to them, they will not be able to access these pages. Instead, my users will see 404 NOT FOUND.

You can see what I mean by going to this page https://superprops-2-r09pdhfab.now.sh/. It works well when recharged.

But if you open this page https://superprops-2-r09pdhfab.now.sh/saas, you will see 404 (the code for /saas also implemented)

In my localhost development it works fine for all pages when reloaded. So I think the problem is with the Zeit Now configuration.

This is the code inside now.json:

{
  "version": 2,
  "builds": (
    { "src": "packages/landing/package.json", "use": "@now/static-build" }
  ),
  "routes": (
    {
      "src": "/(.*)",
      "dest": "/packages/landing/$1",
      "headers": {
        "x-request-path": "$1"
      }
    }
  )
}

How to fix this? Thank you.

Prevent the user from reloading the page

I added a contact form on a page and when pressing F5 the mail will be forwarded if you press 20 F5 will be sent 20 times, some way so that the page cannot be reloaded?

drive: cannot move the ball after exiting and reloading the project

I am a total beginner to Unity and I am following this tutorial series: https://youtu.be/RFlh8pTf4DU?list=PLX2vGYjWbI0Q-s4_lX0h4i2zbZqlg4OfF

It was at the point where I made the second script: make the camera follow the ball. However, there was a compilation error, but it didn't tell me where I was wrong in my code. In the console, it just said something like "Cannot find script file". I use Visual Studio 2017, if that helps.

I restarted my scene, but now, in addition to the last problem, the script I made to control the sphere no longer does anything. It's still there and it's the same, nothing has changed except for the fact that I can no longer control the sphere.

I am sorry to group two problems into one, maybe they are linked?
