dnd 5e: What happens when a dragon that spits fire sucks a creature that carries an Aegis of the Raven Queen?

A dragon that breathes fire breathes real fire

If you observe the ability of the red dragons' breath weapons, for example, the fire-breathing action of the wyrmling red dragon says:

The dragon exhales fire in a 15-foot cone.

Fire and flame are synonymous, therefore, if you had some kind of effect that would extinguish the flame continuously, the fire breath of a dragon would also go out.

The breath of a dragon is not magical

According to the Compendium of Wise Councils, what does this have to say in "Is it the breath of a magical dragon?":

Determining if a feature of the game is magical is simple. Ask yourself these questions about the feature:

  • Is it a magical object?
  • Is it a spell? Or does it allow you to create the effects of a spell?
What is mentioned in your description?
  • Is it a spell attack?
  • Is it powered by the use of spell slots?
  • Does your description say it's magical?

If your answer to any of those questions is yes, the characteristic is magical.

Since the dragon's breath weapon does not meet any of the guidelines, it is not magic.

Therefore, since the breath weapon creates a non-magical flame, there is no reason why this object does not extinguish it.

dnd 5e – Can the Sentinel Raven given by the Raven Queen witch member help the group members with the skill controls?

A creature can not Help If I could not do it alone

The rules for providing assistance (and, therefore, advantage) to skill controls are found on page 175 of the Player's manual, under the heading "Working together" (bold added):

Sometimes two or more characters come together to try a task. the
character who leads the effort, or who has the highest capacity
modifier: can make a skill test with advantage, reflecting the help
provided by the other characters. In combat, this requires help.
Action (see chapter 9).

A character can only provide help if the task is one that he or she could try alone. For example, trying to open a lock requires skill with the thieves' tools, so a character that lacks that ability can not help another character in that task.

Also, a character can only help when two
or more people working together would be really productive.
Some tasks, such as threading a needle, are not easier with help.

Although both points are relevant, the first is likely to appear: the crow can only give advantage to another in a check that could possibly succeed alone.

Certainly, there are some tasks that the crow could help you with: for example, you could use the Help action in combat and give advantage to the next attack made against a certain target. However, many tasks are beyond the abilities of a crow, even to try. You can not reasonably say that they persuade another person, for example, since they do not have the intelligence for a meaningful speech. And they may not be able to successfully attack a medium or large creature, since their size differs in two categories from them.

A DM will have to make a decision in some border cases. For example, a crow may not be able to read tracks or traces, but it can help someone track a wounded enemy by sniffing fresh blood or flying around in search of your prey and thus give you a head start in a Survival checkup. But in general, keep in mind that only a check can be given to you if the creature that helps you could succeed on the check without your help. And at the end of the day, there are many things that a bird simply can not do.

dnd 5e – Can the sentinel crow given by the Raven Queen sponsor help the group members verify their abilities?

I'm playing a warlock and I've taken the Raven Queen as my boss. I had the idea that my sentry crow would help me in all the skill tests, but this seems quite powerful; therefore, I wonder if there is anything that prevents me from doing this according to the rules as they are written.

The Sentinel Raven benefit description explicitly says "… you get a spirit that assumes the statistics of a raven's form and game," so this raven has real statistics and even a +3 bonus to perception. Therefore, I do not see why I could not help the party members with the skills controls (or any, for that matter).

dnd 5e – Does the Raven Queen replace Myrkul?

I'm confused about the relationship between Raven Queen and Myrkul. They sound like they have a very similar job description: they're both the ones you see when you die, and they both like to scare people about it.

Can there be two gods of the same domain? Maybe the Queen of the Raven takes dead elves and Myrkul takes dead human?

(This is specific for 5e)

dnd 5e – Can the invocation of the blessing of the blessing of the Queen of Raven Raven of the AU be used by a sorcerer to heal and awaken an ally to 0 HP?

Yes, the Blessing of the Raven Queen can be used by an Unconscious creature

As a face value, Raven Queen's Blessing simply enables spending a Hit Die. It's a completely different way to activate this than a short break.

There is nothing in the Unconscious state that prevents this from working.

Of course, Uncarthed Arcarna is game test material yada, yada, yada.
