xamarin – iOS No Custom notification sound

I’m making a Xamarin.Forms project, and wrote a dependency service. The iOS part of the code, the sound are not hearing. There are no errors, or exceptions.

I have 6 wav file, and i put all to the resource folder, and i want to play them.

I need the sound when the application is in the front, or in the back, is not matter.

I dont want to use the default sounds, just my wav files.

  • My first thought that the sound file path is wrong, but they in the
    resource folder root.
  • My second thought the permissions, but i give all what its need.

So i dont have any idea why no sound.

Any idea?

            SfCheckBoxRenderer.Init();
            SfNavigationDrawerRenderer.Init();

            UNUserNotificationCenter.Current.Delegate = new iOSNotificationReceiver();

            LoadApplication(new App());

            if (UIDevice.CurrentDevice.CheckSystemVersion(10, 0))

java – OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect: Get notification when user deleted from Identity provider

Does OAuth2 and/or OpenID Connect have a feature to notify the client (e.g my app) about user deletions? If so is it part of the standard, or just some providers have it, some don’t?

Let’s have an example:

  1. User registers in my app with his Github account (or any oauth2 id. Provider)
  2. Starts working, do changes and saves stuff
  3. Decides to delete his account from github.

Does oauth2 have a mechanism for this scenario to somehow let my application know that ‘hey, this user deleted himself, clean up after him’?

Another example could be this site. I registered with my Github account. How would StackOverflow know it needs to delete my comments once my github account is long gone?

Thank you in advance!

macbook pro – How to disable the “Your trackpad is wirelessly connected to this Mac” notification?

So I have a 2019 Macbook Pro connected to a Caldigit TS3 Plus dock. Connected to that I have a Magic Trackpad 2 via USB cable (to charge it). It is a Bluetooth device. Every time I connected my MBP to this docking station I get this stupid notification:

Your trackpad is wirelessly connected to this Mac

And I can’t for the life of me figure out how to disable this. There’s no Bluetooth setting for the device. Clicking on “Settings” takes you to the Bluetooth System Preferences. There’s nothing I can see under Notifications Systems Preferences that pertains to this.

Now I should also mention that I connect TWO different MBPs to this same docking station and it seems like only when I change laptops does this come up but I’m not 100% sure about that (as in, I’m not 100% certain it doesn’t show up when I power the same laptop on or wake it up).

I’m actually shocked that a Google search for “Your trackpad is wirelessly connected to this Mac” (including quotes) has exactly 0 matches.

iphone – Not getting Text notification from one contact

Best way service that launches a notification when obtaining a certain value of a variable??? Help me please (app type tamagotchi)

I started with foreground service but if within this service I start a timer it seems that the timer works but the notification is not launched when the phone is locked for a while. With a runnable handler the handler is simply paused, which does not work either, I have also tried using wakelocks, even a broadcast receiver and there is no way. Should I launch the service as another service from the foreground service? Is it the fault of my Huawei phone? How can I get a notification to be triggered depending on a variable that changes every second while the phone is locked? I have tried a thousand things and I do not achieve my goal, help please, thank you

Retrieving a clicked on notification on iPhone 8

I received a notification from Dooordash that was a coupon for 50% off my next order by a certain date with a code in the notification. Seeing this made me decide I would use it so I clicked on the notification to open doordash, placed my order, and went to add the code. I hadn’t memorized the code fully so I went to go back to the Look at the notification but it had disappeared when I clicked on it and now I can find no way to pull it up again to retrieve the coupon code. This meant I could not get my discount from doordash and their support help said I need a screenshot of the code to get help retrieving the code which is beyond stupid as having a screenshot of the code would mean I still had it and would need no help.

Is there anyway to pull-up recent notifications that you have clicked on? I saw nothing like that in the notification settings pages.

woocommerce – Change password notification email

By default, when customer changed their password using “Lost your password?” link, an email notification saying “Password changed for user: ***” will be sent to Admin’s email address. Is there way to change the email address recipient without changing the website’s admin email address?

c# – Decorator pattern for notification providers

Currently, I have to implement a Notification structure for an API. To allow an easy replacement for any notification providers (SMS, push, email, etc…) I was thinking about using an Abstract base class to have the required functionality for any of those e.g AddTemplate(args...), SendNotification(args...), etc(args...)... I’m looking for a pattern to implement a better structure for this but I’m unable to find an appropriated one. I was thinking about the Decorator pattern to add extra functionality on the run time e.g an email notification may need a subject addOn like var notification = new SubjectAddOn(EmailNotification); but I think its a bad idea to have required data for one class located on an external class or have the subject information on the Abstract base class since this info it’s not needed for any other notification provider. I’m using badly the decorator pattern? or there is a better pattern for this?
