Android Studio IDE: I want to prevent the last executed Gradle task from being default run configuration

I have a custom gradle task that clean, build and copy the output apk to a certain location to release the apk to my customers.

However, every time I run the custom gradle task, the run configuration of Android Studio IDE is changed to that gradle task.

For example,

enter image description here

This is changed as the following picture after running the task.
(In this picture I use gradle clean for example)

enter image description here

Thus, if I forgot to change back the configuration to default app module and ‘run (Shift + F10 in Windows)’, the task is running again unexpectedly and it struck me.

After an hour of googling, I couldn’t found a solution for this. Is there a way to prevent this behavior?

deployment – How to connect Netbeans IDE to AWS Bitnami Drupal 8 installation?

I’m hosting a Drupal 8 installation on AWS using the recommended Bitnami image. I’d like to be able to edit some of the files remotely from my computer using the NetBeans IDE. I’ve successfully created a NetBeans project and I’m connected remotely to the installation at /opt/bitnami/drupal. However, the project doesn’t show key directories there, like /modules, /sites, /profiles or /themes. I can’t edit the associated files.

Those directories are all owned by root with permissions 0777.

Has anyone run into this and solved it?

c – MPLAB IDE shows countless error symbols and does not work

I cant post the full code but I wish I could as there are symbols on almost every single line with any variables, that show errors with identifiers saying “Unable to resolve identifier”, which doesn’t necessarily affect the code, but makes it hard for me to troubleshoot.

cuda – Python 3.8.5 on Ubuntu 20.04 with Pycharm IDE

I have configured GPU with cuda 11.2 (according to my system’s response to nvidia-smi), with latest nvidia drivers (460.X.X). The GPU worked with my Python environment the day I configured it but now sometimes it stops working and give the following error:

2021-03-25 14:28:00.269009: I tensorflow/compiler/jit/xla_gpu_device.cc:99) Not creating XLA devices, tf_xla_enable_xla_devices not set

Does anybody know its fix?
I followed this guide: https://www.fatalerrors.org/a/rtx3090-ubuntu-20.04-tensorflow-2.4.0-installation-guide.html for CUDA 11.2 with tf 2.4

java – Good Cross-Platform IDE?

I’ve been looking for a cross-platform IDE that I can use to develop C and Java programs; I’ve found emacs, Eclipse, Atom IDE, Geany, Code::Blocks and VS Code. I know that there are others but these are tho ones that appeal to me the most.

Of the listed IDEs which do you prefer and why?

I’m leaning towards the Atom IDE, but I’d love to hear from y’all.

Is there a IDE that works better than VS with Unreal?

Visual Studio is currently unbearably slow when it comes to intellisense. This slows down my development process considerably and makes it painful. I need my intellisense to be fast. Is there a different IDE that supports Unreal and will work faster? I have heard Rider works, but I’d like to have it confirmed.

SAP ADT ‘installing software’ has encountered a problem – eclipse IDE

when installing ‘new software’ in eclipse ide (Help>Install New Software…)
exactly following the steps here installation-abap-development-tool-adt-on-eclipse
I encounter this problem (the screenshot)

I had exactly the same issue on Windows, and It was because the eclipse was installed in windows drive/program files, so I just needed to provide admin permission OR move eclipse out of the program files…

But here on Linux(Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa)), I don’t know what to do.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated :))
