html5 – What are the different ways to creating template for a website from scratch?

I would like to know the different ways we can create template for a website because many times the pre-made templates available online don’t fit to the requirements of everybody.

The style I want for my website isn’t available online, so please tell the ways to create template.

  1. Are there any softwares that are used to create them where you can just drag and drop the elements?

  2. Or we can create it with coding? ( By coding I mean HTML + CSS) (if anything else is required then correct me!)

html5 – Semantic HTML for a card component

How can I escape the pitfall of using divs for everything in this, where can I substitute them with semantic tags? I am doing this a part of a exercise and I know it’s important to use semantic HTML tags.

html5 – Issue with sprite animation

I have been trying to get my player to animate for some time now and i’ve read multiple tutorials but i cant seem to achieve this. The tutorial i am following is at : https://www.simplifiedcoding.net/javascript-sprite-animation-tutorial-html5-canvas/

I create the player of a component class:

mySprite = new component(168, 33, "Images/Run/character.png", 0, 0, "sprite");

Then i create the component class with an update function:

function component(width, height, color, x, y,type)
{
  this.width = width;
  this.height = height;
  this.type = type;
  if (type == "image" || type == "background" || type == "sprite" ) {
    this.image = new Image();
    this.image.src = color;
  }
  this.x = x;
  this.y = y;

  this.update = function()
  {
  ctx = myGameArea.context;
  if (this.type == "sprite")
    {
     var curFrame = 0;
     curFrame = ++curFrame % 8;
     var srcX =0;
     srcX = curFrame * this.width /8;
     ctx.drawImage(this.image,srcX,y,this.width/8,this.height,x,y,this.width/8,this.height);
    }

  }
  this.newPos = function()
  {
    this.gravitySpeed += this.gravity;
    this.x += this.speedX;
    this.y += this.speedY + this.gravitySpeed;
    this.hitBottom();
    this.jumpGravity();
    if (this.type == "background") {
      if (this.x == -(this.width)) {
        this.x = 0;
      }
    }
}
}

Then i call both update and newPos functions in the game loop:

mySprite.newPos();
mySprite.update();
I am hoping someone could advise what i am doing wrong.

html5: change div color when input is checked

Guys, I know it is possible to do it with JavaScript, but I want to do it with CSS, I am trying to change the color of the div when my checkbox is checked, but it doesn't work I tried the following code:

Note that this code doesn't work, but when I leave the div inside the browser it works with this code:

The fact is, I don't want to leave my div inside the navigation bar, if you can help me know where I'm going wrong, I appreciate it.

html5 – Change a Javascript function using user input

Hopla everyone, I've spent a couple of days searching the internet for a method to do what I want, surely it is very easy or directly impossible. Well, here we go.
I have this function inside Javascript that changes the content of an XML

var xhttp = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhttp.onreadystatechange = function() {
    if (this.readyState == 4 && this.status == 200) {
        myFunction(this);
    }
};
xhttp.open("GET", "books.xml", true);
xhttp.send();

function myFunction1(xml) {
    var x, xmlDoc, txt;
    xmlDoc = xml.responseXML;
    x = xmlDoc.getElementsByTagName("title")(0).childNodes(0);
    txt = x.nodeValue + "
"; x.nodeValue="TEXTO A CAMBIAR"; txt += x.nodeValue; document.getElementById("cambiar").innerHTML = txt }

My question is whether with user input of this type

With such an associated function

  function myFunction2() {
  var x = document.getElementById("myText").value;
  document.getElementById("cambio").innerHTML = x;}

You could make it change the content of the first function, that is, where it now says "TEXT TO CHANGE", the user input would appear …
I hope I have explained myself. That is, I want to change through an input a function that already exists in the .js.

Thank you all

6 Reasons Why Html-5 Attracts Web Developers – General Forex Questions and Help

HTML-5 may be the latest edition of the markup language, HTML. HTML-5 offers a lot of benefits to web developers, although builders continue to work to incorporate new features. Let's take a look at some of the benefits, which will make HTML-5 appeal to network designers.

Offers audio and movie help

It will help to create movie and sound information available on your site simply by using the tag and that provided by HTML-5 and will remove Flash Player or any other third-party web development. Additional features, for example, peak, thickness, or auto-play, could be quickly described within these tags in a similar way to typical HTML components. This makes the signal more ordered instead of the labels and those that have been used previously.

Offer them the ability to have greater relationships

Who doesn't need a powerful site that provides optimal conversation and intuitive customer software? HTML-5 also provides a quick fix on this route; It is the tag that allows you to create your most fun websites. Plus, it offers numerous APIs to help you get powerful web software quickly. For example, some of the local APIs contain, but are not limited to, Timed Press Play and the traditional Storage Repository, Drag and Drop, which allow HTML-5 to accomplish this much more for the website.

Cross-platform compatible

They are not common windows and only feature numerous outdated windows like IE 6 and Chrome, but also Opera, Firefox, Chrome 9, HTML-5 based internet apps. Most of the internet programs that operate in current browsers can work very quickly in outdated windows just as well, if you can just tweak the signal a bit.

html5 – UTF-8 vs Latin-1 Performance

So, considering the way the content is inside a binary file format translated to UTF-8 pointing to code points, which I'm not exactly sure about, but I'm assuming it's programmed somewhere within each computer's operating system , if you are programming and aiming to reach speed, it would be faster to program with ISO-8859-1 Latin-1 without knowing that all the characters will be safe within this encoding since it only has 0-127 characters in total up to a maximum of 256 characters, or would UTF-8 be just as fast due to the fact that all code points 0-127 are the same length (1 byte) and that the computer itself has all the codes (whatever 2 ^ 16 characters) noted in the main RAM of the CPU? If you had a database with millions of entries versus a database with only a hundred entries, it would assume that it would be faster to deal with Latin-1 correct?
