I have Schengen visa from German Embassy, but my first port of entry will be France. Can I enter?

I have received Schengen Visa from the German embassy but my itinerary has changed. Therefore, my first POE (Port of entry) will Paris. Is it possible in the current scenario?

array – JavaScript app Translator app (digits to German and French)

I was asked to make a simple translator in JavaScript that translates a number between 1 and 30 to German or French.

The app should :

-Ask the user to type a digit between 1-30 (alert an error message if the user does not enter a number)

-Ask the user to type French or German (Alert an error message if the user does not enter those options)

-Translate the chosen number in the chosen language and output the translation.

-The output should say “The Translation is xx press any key to translate again”

I am very new to this and am currently stuck trying to figure out what is the most simple way of making the translation work without too much issues and be clean.

magento2 – Downloadable Product – same SKU – 1 German file for German Store View – 1 english file English Store View

working on Magento 2.3 version.

Problem:

  • I have a downloadable product, different store views English + German
  • I can change all product info text etc. English + German

BUT

the file I can upload, which later gets downloaded by client can only be changed for all store views globally?! Which is a really stupid Magento behavior.

I need the German download-file for German Store View
I need the English download-file for English Store View

Whenever I upload it only changes the file for all Store Views.

overstaying – Finland: Medical Issues/Possible Accidental Overstay (American citizen, German residency permit)

everyone! Please bear with me, I am absolutely panicking and have worried I have absolutely miscalculated the time I have been in Finland. I am trying to do the right thing and honestly am at a loss.

My backstory: I am American, but am studying my PhD in Germany and have a German residency permit, as a result. My partner is Finnish, and living in Espoo, FI. We have dated about two years, and I have visited Finland every so often for short periods of time (a week, or two weeks, generally) over those two years.

Recently, I came to stay on March 21, 2021. I’ve had some severe health issues with kidney stones, and have been in and out of the hospital here in Espoo during that time. I am struggling to walk, am miserable and in pain, and have been essentially bedridden with my partner caring for me. I am still in pain to the point where I honestly don’t think I can hop on a flight back to Germany — I live totally alone there, with no support.

I am wildly terrified I may have accidentally overstayed. I have not been here for 90 days, yet — I arrived on March 21. However, I have visited my partner a few times over the past few years and am not sure how to calculate those past visits in with my current visit.
I honestly don’t know what to do, am a mess, and struggling to find accurate info online about what I need to do or how to calculate my time. Would anyone be willing to talk to me and walk me through it? Is there a way I can contact someone here in Finland for a temporary stay extension, if need be?

I do believe that if I calculate my past visits (short stays in Nov., Dec., and early March), I might be 4-5 days over the 90/180 day limit.

germany – On German bicycle direction signs, what does the background colour for bicycle highway pictograms indicate?

On this direction sign at Wixhausen near Darmstadt, Germany, several destination use a bicycle highway pictogram. Some of the pictograms have a black background, whereas others have a green background. What is the difference in meaning between the pictograms with a black background vs. the pictograms with a green background?

From context, it might mean green means finished and black means not finished, but I think that’s not consistent with signs I’ve seen elsewhere, and I would find it an unusual meaning for traffic signs, so it’d be interesting to have a confirmation.

I did not find an explanation at this list of traffic signs for cyclists. At this stv2go list bicycle highways aren’t mentioned at all.

How to access Shortcuts for Forward and Backwards in PhpStorm when using a German keyboard on a Mac

I currently switched from a PC to a Mac. I’m working a lot in PhpStorm and there use the keyboard-shortcuts for Forward and Backwards – which on windows are Ctrl + Alt + Left/Right Key.
Now I read that this is on Mac Command + [ and Command + ]. Fine … but since I use a German keyboard, ] is on Option + 6 and [ is on Option + 5. Pressing Command + Option + 6 does not navigate me Forward nor Backward.

Is there a ment-to-be solution for this problem? Or am I supposted to actually reconfigure my keyboard to find something that actually works? There must be more people than me having this problem, so I’m curious, what solutions exist.
