unity – How can I render 3D objects and particle systems in front of a Screen Space – Overlay Camera?

To render 3D objects on top of your canvas:

  1. Create a new Canvas in Screen Space – Overlay.
  2. Add a RawImage to that canvas.
  3. Create a new Render Texture.
  4. Add the Render Texture to the Raw Image.
  5. Create a new Camera.
  6. Set the camera to Solid Color background with an alpha of 0.
  7. Set the output texture of the camera to be the Render Texture you created.

You can now render 3D objects on top of your canvas; however, there are extra steps for particle systems:

  1. Create a material. Set its shader to Universal Render Pipeline/2D/Sprite-Lit-Default.
  2. Add your particle sprite to the Diffuse of your material.
  3. In the Renderer settings of your particle system, replace the material with the one you just created.

You should be good to go!

(If you have any problems, try going to your Render Settings and change the Anti Aliasing to 8x.)

front end – My plot is so tiny (and buggy)

This is a very weird question, I’m plotting impedance and admitance using parametric curves
This is my code

parts(z_) := {Re(z), Im(z)};
func(f_) :=
  1/(470 - I/((Omega) c) /. c -> 680*10^-9 /. (Omega) -> 2 f);
ParametricPlot({parts(func(f))}, {f, 100, 10000},
 AspectRatio -> Automatic, PlotRange -> All,
 AxesLabel -> {"Re", "Im"}, PlotLabel -> "Y", Frame -> None,
 Axes -> True, AxesStyle -> Arrowheads({0.0, 0.03}),
 PlotLegends -> {"!(*SubscriptBox((Y), (1)))"},
 PlotStyle -> {Red, Blue, "", ""}, MeshFunctions -> {#3 &},
 Mesh -> {(Evaluate@
      Map({#1, {Blue, PointSize(Large),
          Text(Style(Row({#1 "Hz"}), 12,
            Black), (parts((func(#)))), {-1.2, 0})}} &,
       Append(Table(1/(i + 1) 10000, {i, 11}), 10000))) // N},
 ImageSize -> {425, Automatic})

And what is the result? This:

The plot is incredibly small

if I try to resize I get some jittering, but sometimes I see this
buggy parametricplot)

but then I get the first image again.
What is going on?

front end – Frontend/Backend Integration: Wait for a Google Cloud function to run and then return result

I am trying to create a tool that receives a user input on the front end, uses that input to run a Google Cloud function and then returns a link to the output, hosted on Google cloud as well.

How can you give updates that a process is being performed, and update the page when it is finished?

Safety – Should I walk in front of traffic when I walk on a bike path?

The usual expectation in the US USA For shared use trails, traffic stays to the right and passes to the left. However, there are exceptions, which are generally marked on the trail or on signs. For example:

In Sacramento, California, and Rhode Island, the rule is to stay to the left when walking (as you would on a highway, in front of traffic) and to the right when riding a bicycle. And some trails ask that all traffic stay to the left.

However, what is more universal is the performance rule: horses have right of way, then pedestrians, then in-line skaters, and then cyclists.

In general, the higher the traffic on the trail, the more likely you are to have specific controls, such as trail markings and signs. Light traffic trails may not have any marks or signs.

As mentioned above, you generally stay to the right, go to the left, but it is worth checking the local regulations in your area to see if different expectations are met.

And, of course, performance rules mean that the rider must slow down or even stop, and wait for pedestrians to give enough room to pass.

As a cyclist who uses such trails frequently and has done it throughout North America, I can say that the cyclist who passed you was probably bringing out his frustrations on you, who was in the wrong place (!) In the wrong place at the time.

As a cyclist, I earnestly wish that pedestrians:

  • Be aware of your surroundings. I have lost count of how many times someone went for a walk down the road and completely oblivious to the fact that someone else was in the same universe. They wander and weave all the way without looking, making it unsafe for them and me. Sticking to one side or the other means you don't meet a passing cyclist, or worse.

  • Move aside when they hear the bell. Sometimes I meet groups of pedestrians who go out for a walk and walk the entire width of the road, as if they were alone in a universe shared only between them. Sometimes they don't get out of the way until I'm close enough to hit them and frustrated enough to want.

  • Better control your dogs. I have also lost count of how many times people have kept their dogs off-leash, or worse, on a leash stretched across the path where I am about to pedal. Dogs must remain on the same side of the road as pedestrians, if allowed.

Identify this: where are these 3 white flag poles in front of a memorial stone, river, and valleys?

I cut off my brother's head from this image. Brother believes this was in North America, but I can't remember. Maybe Europe? Does anyone recognize this?

Do we see a plaque with text on a stone as a commemoration? We see a cruise ship. We can't understand what those black beam bars are behind the three white posts and the people are sitting on the shoreline.

uploads: how to get next post id from front end?

Searching with "Next Post ID" gives me the navigation of the previous / next post, but my question is not related to that.

In the WordPress admin panel, when we try to create a new post, the post is automatically saved as & # 39; auto draft & # 39; and the post ID is placed inside the form as a hidden field called post_id. So when the post is submitted the $_REQUEST['post_id'] has been isset.

I am trying to move attachments loaded with a custom post type to their designated directory in uploads/ I like uploads/my-dir/my-item-{post_id}. I am following the Rian Rietveld snippet for movement. And the attachments in the admin panel move perfectly.

But the problem is, I can't pass a hidden field with Post ID from the front end, so the $_REQUEST['post_id'] it is taking apart and the filter is not working. Attachments are being uploaded to your typical year-month directory.

The question I have could be answered by any of the following:

  1. How can I get the next Front End Post ID? or,
  2. How to add filter to upload_dir with a makeshift $post_id instead of passing $_REQUEST?

Image uploaded from the front end using a custom field does not display in WordPress manager for custom post type

I have a custom post type that contains a custom field called photo. All fields will be sent from the front-end. The photo is loaded but I can't see the preview when I go to edit the custom post type. Note: This is not a featured image for the custom post type, but a custom field. I have no problem loading from WordPress admin, but the preview doesn't show when loading from the front-end. Also, the Image is loaded into the WP media library when I upload it from the front-end.

Here is my code for the front-end form:

Returning to the front – COVID-19 Return | Forum promotion

86D7454F-6EB5-4583-8112-DDAE3FC3D3FB.png

Hello everyone,

The COVID-19 fight comes home to many of us, some worse than others. To begin, I want to thank all the essential workers who continue to work, smile and serve the public in every way possible. The fight is real, and it is more real for those on the front line of the fight, caring for those who cannot take care of themselves.

Being part of the front line, I understand the pain that many feel and I want to be able to give something back somehow. So we are donating $ 100.00 USD to the World Health Organization, but we will exceed our own donation. For each post / topic we will add .50USD and for each member who joins our family and contributes at least 10 posts / topics, we will donate $ 10 for new member registration.

We want to be able to return it here at Forumer.io and even if it's not ten thousand dollars with a big signed check, it's something and $ 200 is enough to buy a box of 50 KN95 masks from most of the distributors. Those are 50 masks that we can buy for a hospital, nursing home, or even a grocery store, that are in need.

Read the full announcement here: https://forumer.io/threads/giving-back-to-the-front-lines-covid-19-giveback.2440/

We are excited to start this and grateful to be able to do one of these again!

Android: how can I set the front camera as default on camera intent?

I'm using the camera intent to capture selfie, but by default it opens the rear camera and I want the front camera by default.

ContentValues values.put(MediaStore.Images.Media.TITLE, "New Picture");
        values.put(MediaStore.Images.Media.DESCRIPTION, "From your Camera");

        Intent intent = new Intent(MediaStore.ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE);
        intent.putExtra(MediaStore.EXTRA_OUTPUT, imageUri);

How do I format a column of 3 and 4 digit numbers to add a 0 in front of any 3 digit number so that they are all in 4 digit format? Google Sheets

How do I format a column of 3 and 4 digit numbers to add a 0 in front of any 3 digit number so that they are all in 4 digit format? Google Sheets I have a time function formula that I am applying to a series of times being entered as 836 or 1236 etc but for my function to work I have to easily go back and convert each column to have all the inputs in 4-digit format, so 0836 must be converted to 0836 visually as text without manually updating each individual entry … Thank you!
