you cannot extract the window compress the Zip file using the Drupal extraction function in druapl 8

When I use 7zip software to compress the folder, it works fine when I extract this through drupal code 8. But the same thing when I do it by compressed zip of window s / w does not work for me.

Amazon S3 – How to compress static gzip-files in S3 / cloudfront with terraform?

I have a lot of static files for a website. I have used terraform to provision:

and then, once provisioned, I synchronize my static assets in a local dist folder to the S3 cubes with the AWS CLI: aws s3 sync ./dist/ s3://${bucket_name}/.

Now, I want to make sure that (ideally) development and production implementations will send all files (including images) to the end user with gzip compression. Unfortunately, after much google, I can't get a direct answer on how it is supposed to be done. It is not clear to me if:

  1. the Bucket (s) S3 it needs to be configured in some way to serve gzip-ed files, and / or

  2. Is he individual files themselves that need to be gzip-ed locally and configured in the load (through the CLI), and / or

  3. Is he instance in front of the cloud which must be configured to serve assets with gzip compression.

I would greatly appreciate if someone could:

A. Help me get conceptual clarity (for example, "It's number 2. You configure XYZ on S3 cubes doing ABC") and,

B. provide / point out some terraform / aws-cli scripts / commands that accomplish this.

Thank you!

Macos: compress the contents of each subfolder into a folder on Mac automatically

I have this folder / file structure

parent folder
--subfolder1
  -file1
  -file2
--subfolder2
  -file1
  -file2
...

I want:

  • create zip files from the contents of subfolders. meaning,
    file1 and file2 will be compressed, not the subfolder attached. Name
    each zip file with the folder name, such as subfolder1.zip,
    subfoltder2.zip …

I prefer that the zip files remain in the related subfolder, so it will be:

parent folder
--subfolder1
  -file1
  -file2
  -subfolder1.zip
--subfolder2
  -file1
  -file2
  -subfolder2.zip
...

I hope that is possible with Automator, but I had no success so far.

My searches for a solution resulted in solutions that compress each folder individually with the folder in itself, which in this case does not work for me. I need the content of the folders to be compressed.

Any ideas?

    Does anyone understand the new technology in the compression of random data. Someone said that he had compressed a file to one millionth of the original size using chaos theory.

    It's possible?

ruby on rails – Nginx Gzip does not compress JSON

I have tried several configurations available for Nginx.conf, none of them works for me. Under id my current settings,
gzip on;
gzip_disable "msie6";

     gzip_vary on;
     gzip_proxied any;
     gzip_comp_level 9;
     gzip_min_length 256;
     gzip_buffers 16 8k;
     gzip_http_version 1.1;
    # gzip_types text/plain text/css application/json charset=utf-8 application/javascript text/xml application/xml application/xml+rss text/javascript json;
     gzip_types application/json;

But when I reach an endpoint to get the response from the POSTMAN application, it shows "Content encoding → gzip" in the response headers, but the size of the response remains the same. Below is the list of all headers received in response,

Content type → application / json; charset = utf-8
Transfer-Encoding → fragmented
Connection → keep-alive
Vary → Accept-Coding
Vary → Origin
Status → 200 OK
Cache-Control → max-age = 0, private, must revalidate
ETag → W / "f72af3bd9d87210025b3033805735ee6"
X-Runtime → 0.135639
X-Request-Id → f2efd718-89d7-4351-a79c-721e9312ea82
Date → Thu, 12 Dec 2019 13:10:32 GMT
X-Powered-By → Phusion Passenger 6.0.2
Server → nginx / 1.15.8 + Phusion Passenger 6.0.2
Content encoding → gzip

Can anyone suggest any solution?

One more point, when I skip the Nginx and run the rail server with "config.middleware.use Rack :: Deflater" in application.rb, I can see the compression in the response size.

My server settings then
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS
Release: 16.04
Key Name: xenial

Nginx version,
Nginx version: nginx / 1.15.8

Thanks for your help.

Compression: Compress EBCDIC file against UTF8

Today I found a strange case for which I have no explanation, so here I am.

I have two files with identical content, but one is encoded in UTF-8 and the other is in IBM EBCDIC. Both are approximately the same size (336 MB and 335 MB).

But if I compress the files (ZIP or RAR) one of them is reduced to 26 MB (UTF) and the other to 16 MB (EBCDIC).

How can this be possible? Is the behavior of EBCDIC coding always better under compression? Why?

I need to create an excel and compress it in a zip

good day, I need to create an excel and compress it in a zip with php, since I do the excel but I don't know how to put it in the zip, before the excel is downloaded please help

plugins: compress files uploaded by weForms

I just installed the weForms plugin on my WordPress site. Is it possible to compress all files that are loaded in one way? When someone uploads several files, I receive them one by one in an email, which is a bit stupid and wastes time to download.
In addition, when someone uploads images, the complement scales them. Is there any way to avoid this?

Thanks in advance.

php – How to compress the folder and download, how to proceed in a simple way?

I have been researching a lot in forums and groups of Google and FB, but nothing explained was enough to answer my question, I think because I am new to the area and I am still quite "dry" for some more complex examples, but so on. ..

I need to compress a folder that is created in a process of searching records by date, compress and download it, the process being simpler is the following, I do a search by period, create a folder with the "period" Files generated within it , now I need to know how to proceed to compress this download folder.

I have already installed the php Zip lib on the local server.

My code is currently like this:

prepare("SELECT chave,conteudo FROM xml WHERE modelo = '55' AND data_gravacao BETWEEN date('$data1') AND date('$data2')");
$buscar->execute();
$buscar->bindColumn(1, $chave);
$buscar->bindColumn(2, $conteudo);
$linha = $buscar->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC);

mkdir( $dirPath = __DIR__.'/arquivos/temp/'.$data1.'-'.$data2.'', 0777);
chmod($dirPath, 0777);

  $generated = $linha;
  foreach ($linha as $key => $value) {

        $content=$value('conteudo');
        $fileName=$dirPath.'/'.$value('chave').'.xml';
        $result=file_put_contents ($fileName , $content);
        if ($result===FALSE) {
          // manipula erro, lança exceção, etc...
        } else {
            $generated=$fileName; // remember this file
          }
  }

And yes, I will have to delete both the folder and the zip so that it does not take up space on the server. If the client wishes to have the ".zip file" again, he must perform the date search again. How to proceed?

Macos: compress the content in batches into a folder with Mac Automator

I have seen an automation service that can compress multiple folders into separate zip files: batch compress multiple folders into individual zip files

Can this be modified to enter the folder, compress the files it contains, not the folder itself and move on to the next one?

For example, Enter folder> Compress X items> Exit folder (repeat for the next folder)

It would be even better if you used the folder name for the zip file and moved it out of the folder.
