Please help me choose a suitable server

one of my new clients needs to buy a new server. He runs a private school online. He runs all courses online. As he said he needs 40 TB monthly bandwidth . According to him , about 15000 students visit his courses every day. All of the course videos have been added to his website. But he does not do live streaming. Anybody can visit his website and watch those videos anytime. Can the following server meet his requirement ? I kindly request the advice of the experts here.

dnd 5e – When you are granted a tool proficiency, which type of tools can you choose?

Page 154 Does Indeed Depict Your Tool Choices

Page 154 of the Player’s Handbook outlines the set of items under the category of “tools”. As such, any tool from the section can be selected when a feat, class feature, etc. allow you to choose a tool proficiency.

However, it should also be noted that you do not always get to pick just any tool. While some abilities, such as the aforementioned Skilled feat allow you to pick any tool, certain other abilities, such as the also aforementioned Folk Hero background specify a category of tools, such as Artisan’s Tools, Gaming Sets, and Instruments. When using one of these abilities, you can only select an item from the specified category.

actions – Subscription Box philosophy: users choose from 6 products that rotate weekly. How should I go about updating a renewal order based on usermeta prefs?

This is a meal subscription service. 6 different meals are available each week for a 10 week rotation. Customers can purchase individual meal(s) or a meal bundle (5, 10, 20 meals) for delivery the following week. The cutoff time is Friday and the menu changes. Meals are set up as individual Woo Products.

Subscribing to bundles that change weekly is not a typical scenario handled by “Subscriptions”, “Product Bundles”, and “Composite Products” plugins so I need another method. I’ll explain why these don’t work at the bottom.

Here’s my philosophy, please let me know if this is how I should go about this:

  1. Customers would purchase a simple subscription to become
    subscribers of weekly bundles.
  2. Subscribers would have access to a preferences page with the active meals for the week and can choose their quantities before the Friday cutoff (or get the default choices). This data could be stored as usermeta. Non-scubscribers just choose to order a bundle or individual meals and checkout as normal.
  3. The subscriptions are synchronized to renew on Friday. Users can update their preferences anytime before the Friday cutoff. Whatever the user’s preferences are at the time of renewal, are applied to the order.

The preferences could be stored as simple usermeta similar to “persistent cart”. Is it possible to use the meta preferences to apply the actual products and quantities as line items at the time the order renews such as woocommerce_scheduled_subscription_payment? The subscription price will not change.

Is there any better solution?

The reason the current subscription plugins won’t work is that any time a user updates their subscription, it’s processed as a subscription switch, then processes as a new order by requiring the users to go through the cart again. If multiple customers want to change multiple times before the cutoff it creates too many orders.

I tried setting up Composite products with each week being a component so the user can select their meals for each week but this weekly renewal order would contain all 10 weeks instead of the current week.

httpd – Attempting to mount Webdav drive to Windows gives “The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another”

I have a Linux based httpd server setup with AD authentication that’s working just fine for downloads. Users go to the website and are challenged for credentials. If you belong to a certain group you see all of it. If you’re not in a specific group you see some of it.

A new requirement has been added where they want the users to be able to mount the website as a mounted drive via WebDav.

I tried to mount it and it failed with the error in the subject of the question.
Tried to use “net use * https://my.url/webdav” and got: System error 67 has occurred (after being challenged for username and password).

I installed the cadaver linux client and can connect to the site from another server. I also installed Cygwin on my laptop with the cadaver client on it, and it connected just fine.

I had a colleague who’s on a Mac try to connect using the Mac client and it connected, so it appears to be a Windows thing.

I also installed litmus and it appeared to pass the tests.

My google searching has so far also identified for me a few things I’ve tried unsuccessfully

  • In the registry changing the value of HKLMSYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesWebClientParameters BasicAuthLevel key to 2 and restarting the WebClient service.
  • In the same key, adding AuthForwardServerList and putting the URL there.

I have tried this with AuthType basic and AuthType digest (although digest didn’t seem to want to work with AD)

Here’s my (edited for privacy) config file:

❓ASK – Carefully choose your audience before starting a business | Proxies123.com

That’s very correct knowing your targeted customers, services to be rendered and the gap to be filled is very important before starting a business, as this will enable quick growth and expansion of the business. I will suggest taking surveys, filing questionnaires can help to know the needs of the people so as to set up business in that direction to cater for the needs.

seo – How should I choose which URLs I want indexed to include in my sitemap?

The pages you most want indexed are your post pages such as /blog/post-1. Those text-heavy pages with article-like content on them are the most attractive to search engines. Collectively, those pages are going to account for the majority of search engine visitors to your site. Users will typically find them when searching for some specific query about something you have written about.

You also want the other pages you mentioned to be indexed. Your home page, blog, about, and contact pages are likely to show up in searches for your name or brand.

Pages that you don’t want indexed are ones that search engines wouldn’t like. Things like:

  • Thin content
    • Blank pages
    • Stub pages
    • Auto generated pages
    • Tag or category pages that contain very few links
    • User profile pages with little info filled out by the user
  • Poor quality content
    • Bad spelling
    • Bad grammar
    • Broken links
    • Spam
  • Duplicate content
    • Internal duplication, URLs that duplicate another page on your site
    • Scraped content
    • Syndicated content
  • Infinite (or very large) URL spaces. Such as pages for:
    • Site search
    • Each number
    • Every person on earth
    • Every phone number of IP address
    • Large combinations (like how to get from here to there for every combination of locations).
  • Temporary content
    • Pages that will go away shortly
    • Pages only useful when they are first viewed
  • Private content
    • Pages requiring users to log in
    • Admin pages
    • Pages with sensitive data

dnd 5e – Does the caster of the Incendiary Cloud spell choose the direction it moves only when it’s cast, or choose it every turn?

Every turn.

Unless I’m misunderstanding your question, the answer is in the phrase you quoted.

As you’ve quoted, the description of incendiary cloud says (emphasis mine):

(…) a direction that you choose at the start of each of your turns.

So on round 1, the caster casts incendiary cloud. It stays put for the time being.
At the start of your next turn, the caster chooses a direction.1
At the end of round 2, the cloud settles into place 10 feet away from its starting point.
At the beginning of round 3, the caster can choose again.

Each turn, the player starts by declaring a direction. Nothing says it has to be the same direction as last time.

1 I’m confused about how the cloud moves “directly away” and in a direction that is chosen, but that’s outside the scope of the question.
