linux – How do I connect my USB-C or Type-C headphones to a 3.55mm audio adapter to listen to audio?

Due to some damage, the direct AUX 3.55 audio port does not work.
But, I want to connect my headphones / earbuds and I tried both ubuntu 18.04 and Kali Linux 2019.4 not detected on both but it is working on Windows 10. Here is the output of dmesg on Kali 2019.4 (showing pixel 2 XL Cto 3.55mm type adapter)

Recommend the proper drivers and also confirm DAC compatibility through other interfaces on GNU / Linux.
