javascript: compare the content of a variable with several values

Let's say I have this function called coolName that leads to an argument name and decide if it's a great name:

function coolName(name) {
  const n = name.toLowerCase();
  return n === 'peter' || n === 'paul' || n === 'mary';
}

You can achieve the same with this approach:

function coolName(name) {
  return ('peter', 'paul', 'mary').includes(name.toLowerCase());
}

For 3 or more values with which I need to compare, I prefer the second approach.
