One of the things that seemed true to me is that you can not "force" yourself to write.
However, you can do some things to make life easier:
1. Always have some different writing / writing options available.
This gives you variety and something to choose from. I may not be in the mood for a topic, but I could gather the motivation to focus on another.
2. Warm your brain.
With this, I mean just write all the "junk" as a warm up for your actual writing session.
Many people slow down by not knowing what to write and eventually enter a flow. This usually helps to get to that point of "flow".
3. Take a shower, go for a walk, exercise, do yoga, etc.
Especially after having researched a little, this is a great gift for you and your mind.
Have you ever had an "ah ha!" Moment while you try to fall asleep, or while you shower?
Same principle …
It is giving your subconscious the opportunity to break down all the information you have consumed and now you will have the opportunity to do so.
to do some of the "heavy lifting" for you.
