I have searched for other threads but I can not find a solution to this. Ubuntu 18.04 has been installed well as dual boot on a separate hard drive on my PC. However, Grub does not charge. I can load both Windows and Ubuntu by changing the boot order through the UEFI configuration.
I turned off the hibernation, the quick start and the safe start (I think that's what it was called) (this was done before the installation, since previously I installed Kubuntu 18.04). The only relevant options I have in my boot options are Ubuntu … (which is on) and my other hard drive (Windows is on). I tried to run boot-repair but I got a GPT error that asked me to create a BIOS-BOOT partition that I can not figure out how to do it. I have a summary in place
I would really like to know how to get Grub to work on the start-up. Thanks and apologies for the new wishes.
