I'm working on a fairly simple energy consulting project and I've hit a speed bump. I have a table with a shopping list of the customer with the customer ID and the purchase date. In the second table I have a list of all the clients.
I want to merge these two tables to create a new table that lists all customers with their FIRST date of purchase. At this time, the resulting table is capturing all purchases and simply duplicating the customer information for each purchase record. I am not an SQL expert in any way, so I hope there is a way with no code so that the power query only gets the first match for each record and not all matches.
Thank you all!
