Cost to produce an order?

    Trying to learn how to calculate my cost to produce an order in manufacturing. I can easily take the cost of the goods, the exact time that an employee spent on a job, the commission of the sellers, the shipping and subtract it from the total bill to see what it costs to produce and what is my benefit, but that would not include rent, insurance, public services, etc. and it would not include odd expenses that may appear in the month of May to fix a piece of equipment. Should I take my annual general expenses NOT directly related to a specific job, divide them by the hours we work to calculate the additional general cost that I must include in each order? It's that easy?
