Can it be solved? 3 ^ x = 2 * and ^ 2-1

3 ^ x = 2 * and ^ 2-1, and
x, y are natural numbers.
I found x = 1 or 2 (mod 4), and y ^ 2 = 1 or 4 (mod 120)
But I do not even know if the solution is infinite.
Is there any way to find the solution to this indeterminate equation?
