I am trying to add a logo to a QR code image. The area of the logo image must be less than 12% of the QR code area so that consumers can easily use it.
The problem is that the output file must be in EPS format. So it means that I can not play with him in ImageMagick. I am very aware of the fact that working with vector graphics is complex. I have the logo and the QR code in EPS format. To create that "safe margin", I created a canvas 10% larger than the logo, the composite canvas and the logo in a quilted logo, resized the new file (through
-density option) to 12% of the original QR code area and composed them.
The result was disappointing: no scanner could scan it.
The result I tried to change the size of the canvas to 10% of the area of the image, is still not right.
Keep in mind that the QR will be recorded on a physical plate, that's why I need a vector output.
