Today I read this article (well, 3 days ago, article) that said that some hacker simply stole the personal information from the Quora user base.
The article says that the amount of total personal information of the user who obtained the theft reaches close to 100 million. It is also stated that it is half of the total user base of quora. This type of Facebook user data was stolen a couple of years ago. I have used quora for maybe 3 years. I know that our data information was stolen. But what is a big problem about it?
Maybe my data or someone's data was stolen. But there is not a big change in my life. And (maybe) for other people.
I am not so paranoid about safety awareness, so I did not know how dangerous with this type of accident. Is stealing personal information really a bad accident?
